As China’s “Dual-Carbon” strategy continues to advance and Xinjiang accelerates its transition toward clean energy, solving winter heating challenges in the harsh climate of southern Xinjiang has become an urgent priority. To address the extreme cold, strong winds, and sandstorms that dominate the region’s long winters, AIROSD, a leading company in the domestic air source heat pumps industry, successfully held a large-scale technical seminar in Xinjiang on December 22, 2025. Themed “Driving Through Sandstorms, Defending Against Extreme Cold—The High-Efficiency and Stable Path of Southern Xinjiang Air Source Systems,” the event focused on how advanced heat pump technology can ensure reliable heating in severe environments and promote large-scale adoption of heating and cooling heat pumps in border regions.
The conference brought together industry experts, ecosystem partners, end-users, and media representatives to discuss innovative breakthroughs in air source heat pumps. At 4:00 p.m., the seminar officially opened. AIROSD Marketing General Manager Liu Yun, together with partner representative Kasmu, warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized the strategic value of heat pump technology in transforming Xinjiang’s energy structure. He highlighted AIROSD’s commitment to solving people’s livelihood challenges through innovation in ultra-low temperature air source heat pump units and All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling systems, which now serve as key carriers of sustainable development in the region.

During the keynote session titled “Quality Evolution, Smart Heating for Xinjiang,” Liu Yun analyzed the extreme climate characteristics of southern Xinjiang—long winters, wide temperature fluctuations, and frequent sandstorms—and explained how new-generation heating and cooling heat pumps are redefining clean heating. Compared with traditional boilers, air source heat pumps deliver superior energy efficiency and environmental performance. In particular, ultra-low temperature air source heat pump units maintain strong heating output even in extremely cold weather, while All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling systems enable precise and intelligent energy control. He further noted that the future of heat pump technology will continue to focus on enhancing efficiency and reliability under extreme working conditions.
AIROSD Xinjiang Operations Center Director Dai Yanf ei then shared the successful application of the “low-temperature All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling + fan coil cooling + floor heating dual-supply system.” He explained that this integrated solution uses heating and cooling heat pumps as the primary heating and cooling source, delivering stable performance in severe cold. The system’s strengths in sand protection, anti-freeze design, and efficient defrosting were demonstrated with real-time operational data. It not only ensures stable winter heating but also provides summer cooling through heating and cooling heat pumps, offering users year-round comfort and economic benefits.

In the user experience session, representatives from schools, hotels, commercial complexes, and public institutions shared real-world results. One school administrator reported that replacing coal boilers with air source heat pumps significantly stabilized indoor temperatures while reducing operating costs and eliminating emissions. Experts also discussed maintenance, sandstorm durability, and efficiency retention of All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling systems in ultra-low temperature environments, reinforcing user confidence in clean energy transformation.
As a pioneer in heat pump technology for harsh climates, AIROSD has already completed multiple benchmark installations across Xinjiang. In the Jiucheng Commercial City of Gongliu County, 22 large-capacity ultra-low temperature air source heat pump units have been operating reliably for over seven years, providing efficient winter heating and summer cooling for more than 40,000 square meters of commercial space. This project stands as a flagship example of large-scale heating and cooling heat pumps deployment.
In Yining County, AIROSD air source heat pumps replaced coal boilers across 20 public buildings, achieving over 30% energy savings while eliminating pollution and safety risks. Meanwhile, at Ili Normal University and Xinjiang Light Industry Vocational College, intelligent centralized hot-water systems powered by heat pump technology have been supplying over 100 tons of daily hot water for years, further expanding application scenarios of All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling systems.
Looking ahead, AIROSD will continue to invest in R&D for ultra-low temperature air source heat pump units and high-efficiency heating and cooling heat pumps, deepening service networks across border regions. By advancing reliable, intelligent air source heat pumps, the company aims to support rural revitalization, strengthen clean-energy transition, and enhance quality of life throughout Xinjiang. AIROSD firmly believes that continuous innovation in heat pump technology will allow All-DC inverter heat pump for heating and cooling solutions to benefit every community north and south of the Tianshan Mountains, becoming a solid foundation for high-quality regional development.
